Finding the Right Preschool

One of my hardest jobs as a parent I have experienced so far by far had to be picking the right preschool for my child. Every child is different with their own set of personality traits and skill set. The trick is finding the right setting for your child where they will blossom as they prepare for the rough and tough world of kindergarten and beyond.

I remember going to about six different places, asking the same questions, seeing six classrooms, six teachers; but what it really comes down to is gut instinct. Always go with your gut. If something doesn’t feel right, trust it. I ended up being very happy with my choice and the school helped her prepare for the rigors of her current school.

I suggest doing your homework. Ask questions. No question is stupid. Ask for references. Ask your friends, co workers if they have any feedback on any of the preschools you are considering. Most importantly, do not make a rash choice. This is your child’s future you are planning.

I have listed some additional sites below that should provide useful information as well. Happy hunting and good luck!
